Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Stockton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Stockton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely love this company. 3+ orders with them, 60+ different plants, and never had any type of issues. Plants are always thriving and beautiful. I make salsas and hot jellies so it’s nice getting such a huge variety of peppers that I can’t get anywhere locally.

I ordered white eggplants from CC Nurseries last year. It was my first time ordering plants online. They shipped to me in Georgia in perfect shape! Beautiful plants that produced a ton of eggplant all summer long! I'm ordering from CC Nurseries again this year!

I have been ordering peppers from Cross Country Nurseries since 2013 and I absolutely LOVE this company! The plants have always been gorgeous, healthy, and heavy producers. As for customer service, outstanding. This season I'm ordering tomatoes and herbs for the first time. I have yet to get them in the ground but I'm looking forward to a beautiful garden once again.

We have been growing chili peppers for years and are self proclaimed pepper junkies. We are regulars our local fundraising garden tour, and very active in the local gardening community. After ~70% of this year's pepper seedlings inexplicably failed, I recently ordered 48 different chili pepper plants from Cross Country Nurseries. As soon as I placed this order, we moved into a heat wave with daytime temps in the upper 90's to low 100's. I was very worried about the plants traveling in this heat. Despite arriving in boxes which looked like they had barely survived a rugby game, I was pleasantly surprised to find perfectly protected, well secured, healthy looking plants! As if that wasn't enough, in advance of the plants arrival, we were emailed the most thorough care and planting instructions I've ever seen. I am so thrilled with this purchase from start to finish. From the incredible plant variety, to the quality, selection, and packaging of the plants. I am also thrilled to have received every plant I ordered with no omissions or substitutions! With other companies I have always been surprised by replacements of much awaited favorites which had sold out with more mundane, u

AND ANOTHER UPDATE 5/27/2025: All tomatoes and peppers I purchased this year are growing. They are green and healthy. Adding one more star and will be back next season. Thank you! UPDATE 4/2025. I decided to try the second chance. All plants were doing pretty good last season despite the tomatoes initially looked not promising. Hope, this year they will be better. The variety of tomatoes and peppers is very inviting in this company. Not many nurseries offer such assortment. 2024 Two stars for peppers. They look good. The tomatoes are very inconsistent. 4 of 11 are just seedlings and need at least 2 more weeks before planting. The purpose of my purchase was to get more mature plants, because I seeded mine a bit late. But now, my seedlings look much better than those 4 I recieved. Also, the tomatoes ready-to-plant are pale green and very curly. Never had such experience. The packaging needs cells to separate plants from each other. They were all connected with each other and I was needing to be very careful to separate them and take out from the box. The tomato leaves are fragile and break easily. It was my first and last purchase. Maybe if you go to the nursery in person, you can f
